March 10, 2021, at 14:00, within the scope of Parent Academies activities organized by Kadıköy District National Education Directorate, Dr. Emine AYYILDIZ participated as a speaker in the event titled 'Psychological Problems and Unwanted Behaviors' from early childhood to adolescence.
In the event such situations are emphasized: It can be seen at any time of childhood, although very rare, childhood schizophrenia, childhood depression, anxiety disorder, school phobia, social phobia, impulse control disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorders and also depression and anxiety. Possible causes of these situations are discussed in the context of heredity-environment interaction. Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, which is widely known in the society, and finally undesirable behaviors were mentioned, and the connection of all these issues with the current effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on children was also discussed.
The seminar was ended after the part of answering the questions of the participants was completed.
