Assoc. Prof. Kevser Koç, Head of Basic Education Department, participated as a speaker at the seminar titled "Classroom Management in Early Childhood Education" organized by Üsküdar IMKB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School on April 10, 2021 within the scope of Vocational Education Career Program.
Within the scope of the seminar, the contribution of what was done during classroom management to the social-emotional development of children was emphasized. Lecture was made about classroom management skills and what can be done to support social-emotional development. During the seminar, it was emphasized that not being a leader in the classroom as a teacher could not establish an authority as a result of not having the identity of a leader, but what kind of negative effects the lack of a leader teacher in the classroom might have on children's developmental areas was emphasized.
The seminar was ended after the part of answering the questions of the participants of the seminar, which continued efficiently with the participation of more than 100 students, teachers and administrators.
