Preschool and primary school is a period when people gain important skills related to life and have a high level of interest and desire for learning. In order to train qualified preschool and classroom teachers, the Basic Training Department attaches importance to pre-service teachers to be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and values, to learn to learn during their education and to make their professional development continuous. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to increase the quality of education under the leadership of pre-school and classroom teachers, who are the practitioners of curricula and are among the basic elements of education.
Our Basic Training Department consists of two main disciplines: Preschool Education Division and Classroom Training Division. Our Preschool Education Division has started to receive undergraduate students since 2018-2019 academic year. Our Classroom Training graduate application was accepted in 2019. In this respect, as of 2020-2021 academic year, student admission to our Classroom Education Master Program with Thesis has started. The process for recruiting undergraduate students in Classroom Training has not yet been completed. With an interdisciplinary approach, our Basic Training Department and Special Education Department have started our "Special Education in Early Childhood" graduate program as of the 2019-2020 academic year and started student recruitment.
